Fad Diets & Eating Disorders

Fad Diets and Eating Disorders are in other words, risky weight-loss strategies. People seek every day for new products or strategies that can help them loose weight quickly and easy with less work. A lot of weight-loss strategies do not work for a long period of time, some end up giving you health problems.Fad dieting and eating disorders are two of the most dangerous ways to loose weight but not everyone knows about it.
My activity project will be making a poster. The poster will be for advocating against fad diets and eating disorders. The class will brainstorm ideas about why fad diets and eating disorders are harmful to the body and what are the effects of them.
Learning about Fad diets and eating disorders is very important because a lot of people do this things without knowing it’s harmful. These things are very unhealthy and dangerous, some can be deadly. It is way better living without harmful decisions in life
This activity is good because, it’s a group activity and it allows every one's ideas and thoughts be listen to and allows them to be counted. In this activity you will learn to advertise the consequences of fad diets and eating disorders. The posters done, will be placed around the school to allow others to see and learn about these issues.
Fad dieting and Eating Disorders have increased over the years and younger people are choosing to do these things, instead of having a healthy diet. They look at this as a simpler way and faster way to get the physical results they want not knowing it is bad.
I choose this topic because, people with this things are everywhere and others do not know about it. Athletes and dancers are two types of common people that often might have these bad habits.
Fad dieting and eating disorders are bad physically, mentally, and sometimes emotionally this needs to be an awarness.
